Tips to involve little Farmers
With older kids, why not get them to read the ingredients list aloud? They’ll feel helpful and you can be sure you’ve got everything you need.
Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C/gas 4 and line a square baking tin with grease proof paper.
Place a small pan over a medium heat, half-fill with boiling water, then place a medium heatproof bowl on top, making sure the base doesn’t touch the surface of the water.
Break the Milkybar®, chop the buttery baking spread into chunks and add to the bowl and allow to melt, stirring occasionally.
Once the chocolate and butter has melted, carefully remove the bowl from the heat, then leave to cool for a couple of minutes and add the vanilla.
Crack the eggs into a large bowl and add the sugar, then whisk until pale and fluffy.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture, then gently fold together until just combined.
Sieve in the flour, the baking powder, and then add in the chopped walnuts. Gently fold through, being careful not to mix it too much.
Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared tin and let it settle for 20 minutes and then carefully place in the oven for 40 minutes.
When baked, remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
Remove from the tin and cut into 32 squares.
