Homemade xylophone

Making a xylophone at home is super easy. And when you're done, your little one can put on a concert for all the family!

You'll need:

  • Glass bottles
  • Food colouring
  • Water
  • Spoon

Instructions

  • 1

Add different levels of water to some glass bottles, being careful not to spill or knock the bottles over.

  • 2

Your little ones can watch as you add food colouring to make the bottles magically turn into the colours of the rainbow.

  • 3

Make sure you’re in an open space and line them up in order of fullness.

  • 4

That’s it! The kids can use a spoon to carefully tap the bottles and make their very own music.
